Password Not Working

I have a trio stealth android tablet 4.0. I put in a password now I can not get into it and it seems like everyone I know cant get in either. When I turn on my tablet it come up to the password screen, once I put it in some many times it gives me a time out. I have tired the hitting the down vol. button and the power button at the same time it does nothing.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get back into my tablet?

Welcome to the forum!

If you fail the password 5 times it should prompt you to unlock with a Google account. You must be on a WiFi connection that it already knows.

If not, you need to find out how to to factory reset using the hardware buttons on your tablet. It is not the same for all of them.

I havent tried it on mine yet, but it may not have installed properly if you didn't give it enough time...
