Thanks for doing this, guys. I spent hours trying to get it into recovery mode. It said it was installed but there was no way I could get into it.

I am usually on #androidtablets on freenode (irc.freenode.net)

btw, I haven't been able to do a few of the tablets because for some reason some of the dumps don't extract properly and I haven't been able to verify why...

Let us know which tablets, so we can attempt to dump again, and if need verify they extract before putting you through the effort. We're very interested in getting a working recovery for the Sylvania.

Before this, I tried to install clockwork with the files for Haipad M701R. Maybe the recovery.img is the clockwork version I copy in earlier. I am new in android, and thanks for the help very much.

For Rockchip RK28XX devices, Clockwork recovery is no good because it's cramfs. Unless someone does a redo of the filesystem, you are better off using the stock one as is.

Clockwork recovery for most other Telechips devices already exists, packed by naobsd: http://teamtelechips.naobsd.org/experimental/

The problem is I don't know which exact model of Telechips am I having. And I got no luck in getting it into bootloader mode or recovery mode at all.

I think we were waiting on to see if Razor was talking to us when he was saying he had troubles.

The issue is a few of you guys/girls tablet use ubifs as filesystem and I am not used to that, I do manually unpack yaffs2 images but thats usually the common use. UBIFS is quite different and so far I can mount some of the images on here and others I can not plus
I still haven't found a way to repack the images I modify.

It's not that its extremely difficult, its also partial the issue that I been busy with RL things (school/work)
