I have just get a view of here and find many people are search for their first Android tablet. Here I just show you my first android tablet. All the price and function are both perfect.
I'm proud to recommend an 8'' android mid--Cortex A8 1.2GHz, 1080p HD, support 3D graphics acceleration processor.

This tablet has just released by Giayee Shenzhen, also is my first android mid. I choose this mid Just for Rockchip 2918(1.2GHz) chip, Call&SMS supported and powerful 1080p HD video play capability. What's more the price is low.
Also RK2918 can reach up to 1.2GHz insure the system running smoothly, and support all kinds of Android Apps.
RK29′s 3D graphic chip is Vivante GC800, said it is second only to the PV210 integrated SGX540 and even stronger than AMLogic’s Mali400. I experienced several games there, difficult to distinguish it. In fact, the performance of each chip is same.

The main feature is as follow:
Display: 8" TFT display, 1024x768 Capacitance Multi-touch.
CPU: Rockchip RK2918, Cortex A8 1.2GHz
OS: Android 2.3
Memory: 512MB DDR2 + 4GB NAND Flash
Phone feature: 8" TFT display, 1024x768 Capacitance Screen, with Call & SMS supported
Camera: Front facing 0.3mp, Rear 2.0MP
WiFi: 802.11 b/g
Video:1080P HD paly,Support HTML5 video,Support YouTube and other online video
Power & battery: Removable 4800mAH battery
the feature is just quote from the Giayee.com ,you could find more on the 8inch RK2918 android mid page or contact the skype(giayee).

I hope the article will help you choose a satisfied Android mid.

it looks really cool. Could you tell us its name?

Chinese Giayee M801
But, It is not a Big brand and the Company is just a professional Android Phones and MIDs OEM/ODM. Maybe, you could find the tablet in the American market. Or just contact the skype(Giayee), I just got it.

Thanks for introducing this new product to us.
One question to thos new tablet: It looks like the display format is 4:3 and not the standard 16:9.
Am i right with that?

Yeah, the display format is 4:3. I had think over the 16:9, just for movie.
But,I think 4:3 is suitable for lager screen over 7 inch, and this kind of screen has larger Display area for multi-touch.
