rootin acer a500 without computer?

im wanting to root my acer a500 iconia tab but every discussion ive read has mention useing a desktop well I dont have one and was wondering if it was possible to root it without a desktop

I know this is old but I heard of iconiaroot. Downside is if you are on ICS it won't work. I am in the middle of trying to downgrade to Honeycomb. Which is proving to be a pain.
