The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's beautiful 1,280x800-pixel screen is great for watching movies. It supports a wide range of video formats, however, you may find this wonderful tablet can't play .vob movies copies from DVD, even you have tried many android player, it still can't be played well. So if you want to watch vob movies on Galaxy tab 2 10.1, you must convert vob to Galaxy tab 2 10.1 compatible formats. In this case, a suitable tool is needed.

There are many video converters in the market. It's really difficult for you to choose a right one. If you're looking for ease to use, I recommend you try Pavtube's Video Converter, an ideal all-in-one video conversion app for Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Besides vob, it can also help you convert almost various formats of 1080p/720p HD videos including MKV, AVI, MPG, MOV, TiVo, MTS to Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Meanwhile the quality of the converted videos is as decent as possible as original. The equivalent Mac version is the Galaxy Tab 2 Video Converter Mac, which can convert .vob and more videos to Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 on Mac OS X (Include Lion and Mountain Lion). The tool is on sale (Buy one get one free) during Pavtube's Thanksgiving Special (Offer expire on Dec. 10, 2012).

The steps:

Just like other apps, you must download this vob to Galaxy tab 2 10.1 converter on your PC. After the installation, you can run it and import your vob movies into it.

Then choose the output format for your Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Click "Format" bar and move mouse to "Samsung" column, you can easily find the video preset of "Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1(*.mp4)". The output videos could fit on Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 perfectly.

If you like, you can click "Settings" to change the video encoder, resolution, frame rate, etc. as you wish. According to my experience, the file size and video quality is based more on bitrate than resolution which means bitrate higher results in big file size, and lower visible quality loss, and vice versa. For watching videos on Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, 720p with 2000kbps is just all right.

Finally, if you're satisfied with the above settings, just click "Convert" button to start the DVD .VOB to Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 MP4 conversion.

Once the process completes, locate the files and copy the converted MP4 videos to your Galaxy tab. As you see, now you can effortlessly watch DVD .vob videos on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
