sd card defrag in ICS?

I have an Acer Iconia A500 running ICS on which I have experimented with several Apps. I have 2 basic questions: 1. Is there an App to defrag the internal SD card? And 2. Is there any way to move apps to the external SD card? Thanks in Advance!!!!

Welcome to the forum!

First, defraging is something necessary only on mechanical spinning drives. No need for it on NAND flash or SSDs.

Secondly, not really. There is a way on the Acer tablets to mount an external SD card as the internal to increase your memory to 64 or 128 GB, but it requires rooting. IMO it is not necessary if you have 16 GB or more of internal memory.

I understand you can actually damage flash memory by defraging.
