Both sound pretty capable. I would plum for the 9.7" purely for screen layout. I find 4:3 much easier to view than 16:9. Better for showing webpages & for gaming, not sure about videos as I haven't used either of my tabs for that. I have 9.7 now & think its much better tablet than my old 7" for all aspects. Personal preference though is yours. Do redtabletpc.com stock either of these tablets do you know? If I'm getting chinese tab iprefer to do business with people who I trust & they are best I've come across what with support on this forum & honest pricing, shipping choices, and better quality tabs than most others, I would buy from them.

I am not sure if redtabletpc.com has these items but mcbud and others have them.
Been doing some research on the tablets mention. Concerning the McPad N90; would it not be stronger in the sense for gaming and video since it have a quad core GPU?

Hey guys. I too have the same dilemma.

It is between the SmartQ T20 | McPad N90 | R2000 Tablet PC

R2000 specs can be found here:R2000 Tablet PC First Rockchip RK3066 Dual Core 1.4GHz CPU 9.7 Inch Android 4.0 16GB 1G RAM Silver

Here is a table I created:

As you can see the SmartQ is a great device but the GPU lets it down, plus it is on the heavy side compared to the other tablets, but this could imply better build quality?
The screen resolution on the SmartQ is fantastic, but again the weaker GPU could see it struggle in some games etc. However, the battery is nice and big.

Next, the McPad N90. It weighs less than all the tablets so if portability is what your after, look no further. The battery is huge and will last 7-10 hours which is fantastic. The CPU is very fast and the quad core graphics will offer stunning performance etc.

Lastly, the N2000. It has the same CPU/GPU as the McPad N90, but it has no bluetooth, the battery capacity is lower and it weighs much more.

Rank On Specs:

1. McPad N90
2. R2000
3. SmartQ

Rank On Price:
1. R2000 = £147.79 | $239.99
2. McPad N90 = £160.18 | $259.99
3. SmartQ = £209.32 | $339.99

Overall winner in my book is the McPad N90. However, price/bang for the buck may come into play.

The SmartQ is very expensive compared to the other two tablets. From a price > performance > spec point of view, I would go for the McPad or the R2000. My choice would be the McPad as it has bluetooth, weighs less and has a much larger battery.

Yeah, I also think the McPad N90 is the best way to go.

Edit: Would the screen resolution of McPad N90 [1024 x 768] be of less quality compared to the SmartQ T20 [1280 x 800]?

Thanks in Advance.

Hey. I did point out that the McPad has a lower screen resolution but has the better GPU.

The SmartQ has a better screen resolution but a 'weaker' GPU, thus it could potentially 'struggle' in games.

I am sure HD video will play back superbly though as this is always tested during manufacturing/design..

But I would rather have Quad Core Mali 400 and Bluetooth and the bigger battery :) which the McPad has. I could live with a slightly lower resolution screen because I know the GPU is very capable. Though 1280 x ___ would be great...

Wouldn't we all but is it worth them extra cash? I'm not sure. I reckon mcpad will cope with most games pretty well

Hi. I was talking about the SmartQ when I said "weaker GPU" and that it could potentially 'struggle' in games.

And I was referring to my preference for the McPad when I said "I would rather have Quad Core Mali 400 and Bluetooth and the bigger battery" which the McPad has compared to the other tablets.

:)

Edit:// I went my to my earlier post and edited it so now it should be clear as to what I was intending to say

The resolution is wrong for a 9.7" tablet. They are a square shape and use 4:3 resolutions. Elsewhere on the page mcpad is also shown as 1024 x 720 but 48 pixels get taken by Android 4 notification bar. That is why it says1024x720 instead (768 - 48 = 720).

Wow, how specific your analysis is! So how about Cube U30GT? It is also Rockchip RK3066 dual core and it's 1.6 GHZ, with Bluetooth wifi battery 7200 MAh?
