[SOLVED] How to Remove "Demo" from the Zeepad Screen

I'm not sure why that System app remover didn't work, but it had root permissions.
However when I tried removing (I moved it to another directory just in case) the app using ES File Explorer, the tablet just rebooted, the app that had the same signature was the "System UI" app. So I think it makes sense that the tablet rebooted, when it rebooted there were UI elements missing (status bar, the "buttons bar" at the bottom) so I pasted it back to where it was...
I don't have that demo problem anymore after installing the app found on XDA-Developers forums I mentionned in my earlier reply.

Am curious though, what causes this red demo text appearing out of nowhere ?

Thank you for pctechs attached file helping me remove DEMO successfully from my young daughters zeepad screen. I used the tf card method because WiFi won't turn on, in fact it won't even read the available networks in settings/wifi that I know are there. Trying to solve this problem now. Thanks again for help received already.

They have emailed me back, and i have the file and instructions that are needed to remove the demo off the ZeePad 7DRK I will upload the file and instructions for this process in this thread. Please sticky or whatever to help others with this process. ( NOTE DO NOT FACTORY WIPE THE DEVICE OR YOU WILL SEE THE DEMO ACROSS THE SCREEN AGAIN )

The file is zipped and virus scanned with Avast, and AVG.

Hello there
Please try the below instructions to your tablet.

Open your email on the tablet itself, then you need to click on the attachment and download the file. Once the download is complete, Install the software to your tablet. Then you need to TURN OFF your tablet and RESTART it again.
This process correct the issue on the tablet

Note: To install this package please use the APK Installer App that is loaded on the device

My Version

Step 1. Download the Zip file and save it to a folder on your desktop. If you cannot save it to your desktop, look in your downloads folder Ex. C:\Users\Downloads or winxp C:\Documents and Settings\ < Your User Name >\ Downloads

Step 2. Extract the zip file with ( http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm ) Choose your language

Step 3. Load this on a SD Card that can be inserted on the back of the tablet.. ( This was the best way for me , as i could not figure out how to detatch my email account from the tablets )
A. You can open the email from the tablet and download / install from there... but getting my email account away from the tablet was almost impossible

Step 4. Once you have it on your tablet, Use the APK Installer in the application menu of the device.

Step 5. Once you open the APK Installer, click on Install, choose the TF Card , At the bottom you should see " SystemPack.APK"

Step 6. Once Agree to the terms and click on install.

Step 7. Power off the tablet, Wait about 20 Seconds, then power the tablet back on.

Step 8. No more DEMO!!

So I did everything as you said, downloaded the update file, ran it and word DEMO is gone. Great!

However... Im unable to change my wallpaper (problem with launcher? it remains as default) and my navigation buttons are gone (back, home etc.).

Factory reset done - didnt help.

Model of the tablet: ZuBfi d713.

Any kind of help would be appreciated. ;-)

After months of searching for a "Solve" for this problem I came across this forum and I am so happy that I did. Using the fix seemed to work for me after following the above instructions step by step! Thank you so much, I was about to trash this generic android and just buy another one but you saved me a good $50 that I can now apply to my bills instead. I just wish it was easier to find this forum instead of all of the junk one that said to factory reset, which I did to no avail and loosing a lot of data that I have to reinstall now...

I tried to download the zip file but only got 955kb of it and now I can't get it at all - I'm getting a "The connection was reset" error message in my browser - is the file definitely still on the server here?

Still struggling to download this zip file, what's coming through is a broken archive with the following size:

Size: 0.98 MB (1,037,430 bytes)
Size on disk: 0.99 MB (1,040,384 bytes)

Is something missing? Please advise!

Actually, checking back the file is a slightly differnt size than what I posted above (see below), s it possible that I'm not getting the entire file through?

Size: 0.99 MB (1,043,270 bytes)
Size on disk: 0.99 MB (1,044,480 bytes)
