While I'm waiting for the Pizza delivery guy to arrive with my snack, I just thought I'd add that Sony is not the first company to launch a tablet aimed at cooks, as earlier this year, Archos unveiled the ChefPad which was a tablet designed with similar purposes in mind.
The Qooq is another Android kitchen companion tablet with a custom, recipe-oriented operating system and a splash-proof case.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is by no doubt a tablet that has picked up its fair share of bouquets and accolades ever since it was released. And, now with the Kitchen Edition, it has even been recognized as the Best Power Performer Android tablet by Good Housekeeping’s September 2013 issue.
