Here's an interesting new product reveal for all of our Sony tablet fans. Apparently Sony just launched a new version of their Sony Xperia Z Android tablet. This one is called the Sony Xperia Z: Kitchen Edition. I kid you not...

Apparently this "special" version of the device comes with a book-style stand, pre-loaded recipes from Saveur magazine and an iGrill digital wireless meat thermometer. It has 32GB of storage and retails for $650. Here's the full press release,

While I'm waiting for the Pizza delivery guy to arrive with my snack, I just thought I'd add that Sony is not the first company to launch a tablet aimed at cooks, as earlier this year, Archos unveiled the ChefPad which was a tablet designed with similar purposes in mind.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is by no doubt a tablet that has picked up its fair share of bouquets and accolades ever since it was released. And, now with the Kitchen Edition, it has even been recognized as the Best Power Performer Android tablet by Good Housekeeping’s September 2013 issue.
