Sorting Video List

[NYC_HDL]

I'm an Android newbie, and have a 7" Android tablet running version 4.01.
I loaded up a microSD card with video files, and when I launch the native "Videos" App, it lists all of the video files...

However, the list seems to be in a random order; what can I do to show the list sorted by the Video Name; the File Name; or the Video length?

Hi NYC_HDL, congratulations on your new T711 and welcome to the forum. Nice of you to become a member of Android Tablets. Check the "Settings" for the app and you'll probably have several options for sorting the videos. There's probably something on the screen when the app is running that will get you into the settings, usually three dots stacked on top of each other.

Thanks, Spider... I checked for a "Settings" for this App; no dots, no hot spots, no choices.
I am guessing that the "Video" App is a default native App (at least for this Tablet Model), and it seems rather bare-bones. No obvious places that might open a Settings screen.

Perhaps someone can suggest a more robust (and free) video App I can try.
