Tel9C WiFi Problem

I have just purchased the tel9c.
I am struggling to connect wifi, I have mobile hotspot turned on on my mobile, the tablet lists it ok but doesn't connect and tells me 'Authorisation problem'
Any ideas anyone?
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean installed.

Couple questions. What you described usually means you aren't inputting the correct password but what are you using for the hotspot, (I'm assuming on a phone). If it is a mobile hotspot rather than a phone what type and what security did you set up?

Nope, I always double check passwords. The hotspot is my samsung gs6010.

I've discovered it is the router that os the problem!
