TF700 Photo Challenged

Greetings & Salutations!
I have a TF700 that we have downloaded some pictures from our camera. However upon trying to retrieve them they are only there for a moment and then gone. When looking at them in the album mode they are there but when I go to expand them they show a different photo. Then when I go back to the album mode they are gone. Any ideas? I copied the file onto my pc but they are not there.
Your help would be appreciated.

You pretty much stumped and confused ME

Working backwards, you copied them onto your PC but they are not there?

Where on yout TF did you put them and are they still there if you look for them using the file manager?

What format were they in?
