Throttled

So, I had gotten a gslate, with the 5gig unlimited plan. After 2 weeks my data connection was throttled by tmobile, this gave me below dial-up speeds (can you say no youtube? At all) , for the remainder of my billing cycle ( about 2 weeks) . Now I will be first to admit that I am a data hog, but on the phone, not the tablet. I hadn't even had a chance to use it enough to figure out how to use it in data intensive ways. My phone is rooted, which gives me many more options. Needless to say I returned the gslate the next day.

That sucks man. So what are you going to do now for a tablet?

So you have a 5gb plan? Not unlimited correct. How do you know you were being throttled? How many gb did you use?

It is unlimited being that you will not suffer charges for overages. Instead after the 2,5, or 10 gigs are reached depending on your plan, your data connection will just be slowed to a crawl.
