Turning top border on and off?

Is there away to toggle the top border on and off to get a full screen?

When reading kindle books the first line of each page hides behind the top border.

On. Some tabs in system settings, you can set border on or off, also you can set swipe up or down action to hide or show it. Haven't checked but maybe you can set border from kindle menu settings. You can with aldiko.
