When to charge the battery?

I've looked, and couldn't find the answer. Is it better to let the battery go way down before charging or doesn't it make any difference?

Letting the battery go way down is actually bad for it, if you do it regularly. LiPol batteries do better with frequent partial recharges. Now, it's not as if your battery is going to immediately explode if you charge it from 5% up again, but making a habit of this will shorten its life.
