Why is K-9 email app displaying the wrong sent time?

I can't figure out how to fix this problem. I installed the app because I started using the tablet for work and needed an email client for a pop3 account. I installed it and set up the email account and I can send and receive mail just fine the only problem is that the received time displayed is wrong. I sent myself an email from a computer at work at 10am. The email on my phone says the email was sent at 10am. My computer says it was sent at 10am too, but k-9 is displaying that the mail was sent at 6am! The time on my vizio is correct so I really have no clue.

Anyone have any idea what I could be doing wrong?

do you have the app on your phone also?


No, I don't have it on my phone....just the tablet. I'm trying to see if there is any setting for timezone in the mail app itself, but I an't find one. I can't find anything on the k-9 website either.
