I downloaded Adobe Flash a few days ago on my A500 and had no problems, u should try again. If that doesn't work you could try downloading the apk, and installing it (btw BBC.co.uk might have HTML5 that supports the video tag).

Browser settings advanced allow plugins always.

I cant get Adobe Flash to download either. It says its not available for my device, so how is it some people can get it for their Acer A500? Im confused!
