Adding Google app store to a Polaroid 701i tablet

I'm new to this forum and to owning a tablet. I just purchased the Polaroid 701i tablet that comes with the android 2.3 operating system and only the amazon app store. I read it is possible to add the google app store to this tablet but I no idead how to proceed. I appreciate your advise. Ron

I am not sure if this will work, but you can try downloading the latest .apk from here and see if you can install that on your tablet:

I tried the website you suggested and it didn't work. My son-in-law found another site and got it to partially work. I was able to down load some apps but it sometimes didn't work or froze. I was trying to get an app for my music server but it wouldn't recognize the tablet. I decided to sent the tablet back and I look into purchasing an android tablet that allows google apps. Thanks for your help anyway.
