Anti-virus

I am new to the android and tablet world, and this forum has helped me out with alot of useful information. I am loving my vtab, and and I was wondering about anti-virus programs- do I even need one? I if so, you which ones are good for tablets?

There are lots of free anti-malware apps available on the markets if you feel you need one. I'm using Lookout on mine with no apparent performance issues.

Avast has put out a fantastic virus/maleware/lost device app. I use avast its perfect.
