I am thinking to buy a tablet but i am stuck in between ipad or android tablet. My questions are:
1.) Does android updates are based on manufacturer? Means only they can make it available for there tablet machine if they want?
2.) As android is getting updated frequently, what happens to the apps. Like apps for gingerbread would not support honeycomb or such?
3.) Suppose company does not update new android issued and try to concentrate more on there new product to improve sales, can a user himself be able to update or not?
These are things making me hold to decide in between ios and android because ios whenever issue new update it is for every product like ipad1 and ipad2 can use same 4.3.5 ios.
