well am quite impressed with the herotab M10- cortex A8,8GB, i ordered from Hong Kong for £158 with 3 days delivery,,the first tablet was a flytouch 3 which is very toy-ish feel and looking compared to the herotab but that's just my opinion lol,,,,,,good luck in your choice,,,,

You will just have to pay a little extra. The 16GB is priced at $499 as opposed to the Transformer at $399

I heard PickEgg have an Android 2.3 tablet which only needs about 200 bucks. Think you should check it out.:)

    Hi uplade3,

If you are looking for a solid tablet around that price range I would definitely recommend the Acer Iconia A500. It is pretty much identical spec wise to the Xoom, but after tax it's almost $150 cheaper. We loved this tablet and actually found it to run a little smoother and more consistent than the Xoom. You can check out our full review on Progizmo and hopefully it will help you make a decision! It's even got a nice aluminum backing! Check out all the info and review here: Acer Iconia A500 Hope it help!

    Cheers,
