I figured I would start this thread as it pertains to both ROMS.

First a question for lfom. Is there any real difference between these two ROMs or is it more cosmetic? I ask because Evo does slightly better (only 10pts average) on DeviceMark, and CPU Bench ( about 15MS avg), not big numbers, but it is funny because to me GingerLF "feels" faster.

I want to thank lfom and steev and the rest of the people involved with these ROMs. It can be such a pain finding ROMs for a device particularly when you have a company like Coby dropping them like Dugger babies.

What does anybody else think? Preference?

EVO has both aesthetic changes (updated hc theme) and some under the hood optimization (sql3lite and other stuff from acidmods found on xda). It also changes the file system and internal sd partitioning by adding an extra vendor partition that adds more space for system related files. It will permit and easier and safer update path using single img files, not touching u-boot thus making bricks much harder to happen.
