I came to this forum to learn more from everyone's experience. My one son has a Ipad2 and the other a android. I want one as well but would like to learn which is the best of the available items to get.

I very much agree with this, if you are a geeky technophile, Android wins every time. If you are just looking for something that works, simple and only 1 way to do stuff, get an iPad.
