iRulu 7" Tablet Android 4.1

Hi, I purchased the iRulu 7" tablet with Android 4.1. Example tablet is here: Irulu 7" Android 4 1 Jelly Bean Tablet PC RK3066 1 6GHz 8GB HDMI Bonus Red Case | eBay

The specs indicate a sim card slot for 3g use. Does anyone know if that means this tablet can be used as a phone if I use an activated sim? I want to use it as a primary phone. Ready to root/throw into a pot of melted silver if necessary

Hi deepsea, I found this at their site: Good luck with it working, it's all mumbo-jumbo to me. But I bought a tablet from them. too, and haven't been able to boot it up. Sorry for how this post looks...I don't know how to make things line up better.

Question 3: How can I connect to the internet with 3G?
	A: You can connect to the 3g services if equipped with a dongle which has a sim card slot. The sim card should be 3g enabled. Sim card is used in cell-phone for connection. Verizon, Sprint, etc. We can just connect 3G dongle to USB 2.0, so we need an OTG cable which is included in our package, please follow these steps: 1: Make sure your dongle works on your PC/Laptop. 2: You must know the manual setting of your dongle/Service provider (you can download it from net, eg: search for "Verizon APN settings"). 3: Download PPP widget from google app and grant root access to it after installation. 4: Connect the 3G dongle to your table pc via the OTG Cable. 5: Click on configure and fill the details of manual setting of your dongle/Service provider. 6: Click connect and enjoy.
