Just rooted but market won't work

So I followed the instructions here:

Everything works fine so far except android market. When I select an app to download it says it's downloading. I go to the download tab and I see the gray status bar. It never moves.

Tried signing into google talk and restarting but still no luck. anyone have suggestions?

Just rooted with what?
Would U liek to give more info about your status?
Other internet apps are working?

Do the following:
Nook Color Tools > All Settings > Application Manager > Market: Uninstall updates, reboot
or
Nook Color Tools > all settings > manager applications > Market: force stop, clear cache, exit
or
Nook Color Tools > all settings > manager applications > Download manager: force stop, clear data, clear cache, reboot
