I am looking at getting a tablet for when I travel for work. I really only want it for my entertainemnt purposes. I would like to check email, browse the net, and watch movies I rip from dvd's on my pc. Would the Kyros 7015 be a good fit?

My wife already has an iPad, so don't want to spend a ton of money on another tablet. Just something that will make the plane rides and layovers much more bearable. The price point on the Kyros looks to be pretty good ($148 at walmart.com) and I like that it's coming from Walmart and I have the ability to return it if I want. I had also been looking at the Ideos S7.

Any suggestions or thoughts are much appreciated.

There are already several threads about this. Just look through the coby section here.

And, yes, it's a decent tablet. I read somewhere on here that the telechips board was originally designed for media players, so it does that well.

Like l_n said, there are many threads on the feedback of the Kyros on the site, you can find them with a simple search.

But for simple web browsing, movies and the such, the Kyros is a great buy.
