Hello all.

I have looked around the net, but can't seem to find an answer to this, but...

I have the 10.1 GT-P7510, running 3.2 which is rooted. I've had it for a while and it's a great little machine, but I noticed a problem the other day.

I usually have it in a closed cover, why I've never noticed it before, but, the other day, I had it open, I put it in standby and on my desk. I then noticed that the screen comes on to the lock screen for about 5 seconds, then off again, on again about 20 seconds later, off again and so on!

With random presses of the standby button, it doesn't do it all the time, but I have now noticed it's doing it a lot. Which is draining the battery pretty quickly.

Any one else had this issue or know what might be causing it?

PS...I have a Galaxy S2 on ICS rooted, with all pretty much the same apps on it and that's never done it, as far as I know.

Try turning your WiFi off before putting it to sleep for an extended period of time. If that works for you as it did for me, then get an airplane mode app so you can do it from your home screen w/o going into your settings every time.
