pre installed apps and games

can someone please advise me on how to remove pre installed apps and games from an Acer A500

Root the tablet, then you can remove preinstalled apps (you can find how to root the acer tablet by searching the acer forums here), however you may not be able to install updates to your tablet if you do so. Recently acer put out a small patch and the users who not only rooted their tablet but also uninstalled the preinstalled apps found they could not update at all. Will this be the case for all updates? No idea, but probably for a while at least.

Thats my long winded way of suggesting you dont do it... but its your tablet and i wish you the best

Think you need to root your tablet first before you can remove the bloateware
