Proscan 7" Tablet 8GB Google Brand Keeps Having Screen Do the Snow Static

Okay so just bought this a few weeks ago and within the last week the tablet sort of locks up and does a snow/static screen but once reset goes back to normal can anyone tell me what the issue may be and if its an easy fix or do I need to send back and get a new.

If by reset you mean factory data reset, and you didn't install any apps other than what the tablet came with then a return is your best option,
