sleep mode

Quick question - when the NC is put to "sleep" (not sure if that's the right term; I'm referring to when you press the power button quickly), is the wifi still on? Are background tasks (ie. email that polls for new messages) still running?

Wifi turns off unless you modiy it not to do so. I believe back ground tasks are suspended, though I don't know that "all" tasks are. Since wifi is off you will definately not get updates for new email or anything that requires internet access until you bring it out of sleep.
