Song Artist Names Come Out Messed Up!

Whenever I sync music to my Vizio Tab, a lot of the artist names show up on the tab as either "Unknown Artist" or strange symbols (Chinese or Russian letters and such) and it happens when using either Media Player or when copying directly to the music folder on the tab.

ANY ideas will be appreciated, because I can't enjoy my music very much until I can fix this...
