hello
I just got my v702 and I try to update with M708A1.JB.1115 (I'm downloading the new 1129).
j ais recovered the "aml win7 x64" with the usb driver for x64.
program update "imageBurnTool" works well up to 75% but loses connection :/
I can not start the tablet, I have not access to recovery, I have no access to that with the power + home in "imageBurnTool."
what i missed?
what is the solution? i tried the 1.5 and 1.55 and it is the same :/
thank you very much

Hi, inside the file you downloaded will be "update.zip" and "patch.zip" drag these 2 files to your sdcard and then download this file -

AML U-P.zip

Now open the zip and drag the factory_update_param.aml file to your sdcard and shut down the tablet, wait 1 min and Hold HOME key for ATLEAST 3-4 seconds then still holding home key press and hold "power" key until you see white android then release both keys, the update will start when green android shows.

Usb only works on eng win xp 32 or win 7 32, go to your settings and wipe tablet/factory restore and try for recovery it has to be there its what starts the boot loader.

Ive had the exact same problem on my v711. Your version of windows is likely to be the problem. Ive solved it by using an English version of windows xp sp3 32-bit. Please refer to this thread for the exact solution.

First off, you really have to use an XP SP3 in English, that's very important, but I see you've also tried that.

When using a virtual pc, the usb connection your host computer makes aren't automatically send through to your virtual machine. You can manually do this in the 'Devices' menu in the top of the virtual computer window, but that is too slow and you will still error at step 18. Instead, you have to let Virtualbox do this automatically. Go to Machine>Setting then go to the USB tab. You can add USB-filters by clicking the USB-plug with the green plus-sign on it. Add all relevant USB-connections. Please note that these change as the process reaches 75%. Add these new connections as well. The firmware update might not succeed at first try, but eventually it will if you have the right xp and all the connection filters.

Here is an image of the settings I used:
$Knipsel.PNG

Of course these are the thing I experienced, so it might not be the exact solution for you. It is still very much worth trying though. Good luck and let me know if it works!
