Vizio Vtab 1008 and HTML

I have noticed when I am on my laptop I see html properly displayed on the screen. When using this tablet with the forum app html is displayed as code rather than the, what ever it is supposed to look like. So far as I remember when I am on the web, html displays just fine so is it the forum app that does not display html properly or is there a setting in the app that needs to be set for html to display correctly?
