Ok as my name suggests I am a noob here is what I am after in as short as possible,

I am a uni student, I want to be able to type away merrily on my iconia a500 in lectures workshops etc then take it home and slap it on my laptop in a good format that I can type into, what software do I need? I have tried for hours googling but there is way to much info, all I need is one name :)

Also, any other med students or genetic students out there who have cool uni friendly apps? OR EBOOKS or places to get ebooks

The best thing about Quick Office is that you can access files in your Dropbox, Google Docs and a few other options. Another alternative is Evernote for text, voice and if you have a premium account you can have other file formats.
