7" Irobot Epad 2.1 Android Firmware......

I have the 7" Epad with 1.6 that is a very unresponsive firmware with incredible restrictions.

I bought this unit with the intension of flashing it thinking that the firmware would be easy to find. I have flashed media players, psp's and these were simple compared to this bloody thing.

Anyway in short i need to flash this think to 2.1 It is a generic with dirty Kernel and currently at WMT22.1.2-105 Build.

Please i love this little tablet but i need to unlock its potential. Help

you probably wont be able to update to 2.1, and the reason you could flash psp's so easy is because there is a total of like 4 different kinds and they all come from sony. but with android tablets there are hundreds of android tablets. but there maybe some custom firmwares/roms out there that will help make your tablet better

Absolutely.....my point indeed. There is a homebrew for the tablet it's a case of finding it, If i brick so be it but i know there is a possible flash for this as i have seen it on the same tablet with same kernel.

You have to admit that the OS on 1.6 is terrible.
I'm open to testing any Homebrew that works with the VIA WTM chipset..
