Ainol firmware - does it exist ?

My Novo Hero Quad Core runs Jelly Bean 4.1.1
I want something newer and fresher, but the only firmware download I can find has older versions than the one I have --

Can I install a standard distro of Android or Cyanogen or Ubuntu ?
