So, has anyone actually gone to the Underground or gotten any of their apps?

I got a bible app, from there, on my Lenovo tablet, just to check out the Underground.
Won't install it on either of my daily users.

Nice! Noticed this is a really old post. That's why J515OP has 'Super' in his title :)

You guys are still here! Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! I got Amazon gift cards for Christmas and used part of it to get the Fire HD 7 for $49. It is an awesome tablet. I wanted it mostly for reading and is does a good job of that. The videos and games, though, are really good too. Better than my 10" tablet or laptop. Especially if you are a Prime member, it is well worth the price. Oh, the rest of my gift card money, every nibblet of it, went to buy dog treat for our 3 dogs.

As for Underground, the only time I think to check it out is when Flip Pix Art (a griddler) advertises a new free game on FB.

Hi JB, nice to hear from you again.

Glad to hear you're OK and enjoying the new Fire HD 7. Do you know if you can install the Nook app on it? My wife's been having problems charging her Nook tablet and I was considering the Fire as a replacement for her. We have 900+ Nook books, so the Nook app is pretty much a necessity.

I hope Tiki is still around and is one of the three dogs. Apparently one dog wasn't enough to handle the bears now that they've all grown up.:D

Yup Tiki is still around. She is about 8 1/2 now. The other two are American Eskimos. Surely I mentioned them before. We didn't see the bears this year. Maybe the dogs are just really good at marking their territory. :)

For 50 bucks, the Amazon Fire is pretty much strictly Amazon. It isn't even Android, but their version of it. In your case you might be better off getting a cheap Android tablet. There are a bunch of them on Amazon for about the same price.

I think you're right, in fact an E-Reader might be the best. The ONLY thing her tablet's ever been used for is reading books.o_O

Do some Googling. A Nook eReader is only $130. You can get a Samsung tablet for $120 and I think they might be connected with B&N somehow.
