I have the Diablotek D2 Pad 7" tablet. For the price this thing is great! But what I noticed is that Diablotek just released a new 7" pad with the same specs as mine but they have Jelly Bean installed. Does anyone know if Jelly Bean can be installed over the ICS android on this device? I know the system is already rooted.

Ah, you're likely referring to the D2-712, the successor to the D2-711. As if to make things even more complicated, the D2-711 was released alongside the much more desirable D2-721, which has a slightly better (800 x 600) screen, 1 GB of RAM, and a 1.2 Ghz Rockchip RK2928 SoC. And to add to the confusion, they've recently listed the D2-727, which seems to have specs in between the D2-721 and the D2-712 (800 x 480 screen, 1 GHz SoC, 1 GB RAM), but with Google Play Store support.

That all being said, in theory you should be able to flash a '711 with a '712 ROM, since the hardware on these models is apparently identical. You'd have to either either (a) email D2pad and ask them for a D2-712 ROM file, or (b) see if someone has done a ROM dump of a D2-712 unit.
