Apps on APAD

I've a question, if i develop and App for Android phone, would run this app in APAD??

if you create an app it maybe able to run on a tablet right away but you also might have to do some tweaking to make it work perfect on a tablet. If you need someone to help you test it let me know

I'm in a similar state of mind. I have some emulators that run on a phone but I want to get them to run on my new tablet. (WHEN I get it I'll know for sure) If I can't get them to run I will need some help and some testers.

I've a couple of questions (extras )

I saw an APAD with Android 1.7, there is any way to keep those tablet updated in terms of OS (in this casa Android) there is something like Update or any way to always have the latest Andorid version???
