Apps won't load

I just got my daughter the Velocity Micro Cruz for Xmas. Suppose to be able to download free apps from the Amazon Apps store. When trying to install apps they won't install. Keep getting message of "Application not installed". Anyone experienced this problem or have a fix for this?

Have you checked in settings that you have allow apps from unknown sources checked. It should be under the applications tab.

I have tried and get the same message have also checked the unknown box still doesn't work

Not all apps work on all devices. You must have encountered that. I suggest you download
applanet market from Applanet

You may find some working versions of the files your looking for. I did..

velocity micro cruz's web site has a list of apps confirmed to work (and a list confirmed NOT to work). I suspect there is a similar list on this or other forums. I would post some of the ones here but probably better to find that thread and keep it in one place.
