Archos 5 security

How do I secure my Archos 5 from unauthorised use? There does not seem to be a way to login securely on power up.

Unless you have a different unit than I do. It is: Settings, Security & Location, Scroll down and choose Unlock Pattern. Go through the pattern selection.
One thing of Note: Remember your pattern. Once locked out, the only option is device initialization.
