Archos 70 Tips

I will be recieving my A70 soon; does anyone have any tips for me?

Quite Simply, Read the Archos Forum, and Google

When you charge the battery for the first time, don't do what I did: plug it in the headphone port. The holes are similar in size and I was not looking. Of course when it was not charging, I got concerned and realized what I did.

Also, Upgrade to Android 2.2 and definitely install Google Market.

I was considering this tablet. All the sites I have visited say it is new and not in stock yet. They also say it comes with 2.2 Froyo. I assume it is a new upgraded version and that is why it is not in stock. Also, I don't see RAM in the specs, but I have read it only has 256 instead of 512. Is this correct?

Funny ... I plugged my charger into the headphone jack too! It seemed to fit better, but wasn't charging ... Duh ....
