Hi,
I own a Haipad M701-R (The one with HDMI, Remote and the SD-Card sticking out).
Iw would like to know how to backup my current firmware (rom?) so I can put it back after testing new and test firmware releases.
In the Forum threads, a lot info is to find about putting new firmware (rom) on the device, but not on how to restore your old firmware.
My device is rooted with the info found on this forum.
Can someone make a step-by-step for backing up and putting a new version on this Haipad please.
Can you always downgrade?
Current Rom: 2.6.29 cbsgpq@CBServer #121 (This one has a bug that writes a lot cache files to the SD-Card)
Thanks in advance.
