Browser wont start

I keep getting a message saying "application browser has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"

It won't open at all. Any suggestions? Obviously, I am a newbie to this.

Power off and back on and try again. Did you install any applications from the market or otherwise before this happened? If so, you might want to remove and try again. If error still exist go application settings and clear browser data and cache. Final option is factory reset
