Can you have Amazon App store - on same device - as Android market?

I had a major crash and loop today - when I tried installing Amazon app Market - onto my Device - after setting up with Android Market. I had a bunch of other things I swapped around today - so it may be unrelated to download. But the Amazon app market download was what set my device into crash and Boot loop.

I got it working right now - with a bunch of new apps set up and running nicely from the Android Market. I'd like to add my Amazon app store back to my device - but don't want to go through the crash and loop. I want to play with Titanium backup a bit before I go through that again.

Are the two app markets compatible on one tablet?

Yes, I've had both for a couple months now.

You can have multiple app stores on a device.
A perfect example would be an archos, applibs market, slideme market, android market and amazon appstore

I've had both on my NC since the day the Amazon AppStore became available. No problems.
