Cannot connect to hidden WiFi networks - Nook Color with Phiremod

As the topic states, my Nook cannot connect to a WiFi network with a hidden SSID. I did not have this problem with the factory ROM nor with the device running the CyanogenMod ROM running from an SD card. Any suggestions for a solution?

You have to manually enter the SSID and any other info such as WEP code.

This was done but it still says its out of range.

1hen2ducks is having the same problem. Cannot detect wifi. Did manually enter ssid and passkey with same result, (Out of range) Please feel to PM with a solution.
