cannot sign into google talk

when i go to google talk i'm unable to sign in and i get the message enable to connect to server even though i'm able to browse normally

Open the market and see if you're signed in there.

I am but I cannot download apps either
I sent a report and one of the developers told me to sign into google talk
But I can't
I get the msg starting download then it gets stuck there

hmm. Go into settings and then accounts and see if you can reenter your google info.
