Cannot upload music & photos

Hi

I cannot not transfer any music or photos onto my tablet from my laptop. It was working fine a while back without any problems but now keeps coming up with the following error:

An unexpected error is preventing the operation. Make a note of this error code, which might be useful if you get additional help to resolve this problem:

Error 0x80070057: The parameter is incorrect.

Does anyone know what this means & how to sort it so I can transfer music & photos again.
