Just wanted to share this with everyone.

I wanted something to hold the S7 while in the car. Trying to navigate on with it on the seat was just slightly dangerous. Mounts for the Galaxy Tab seemed a bit on the expensive side.

I found this: http://www.amazon.com/Arkon-SM523-G-Slim-Grip-BlackBerry-Smartphones/dp/B0044AT1BQ.

Cheaper on Amazon than on the Arkon website. Just got it yesterday. It holds the S7 pretty tightly. It's spring loaded on the grips. The S7 fits very tight using the standard grips. I was afraid it would be too skinny to hold it, but it looks to be working OK.

I think you can get the Slim Grip as a suction cup mount as well, not sure how well that would work, as the S7 is fairly heavy compared to a phone.

The above mounts look like great options - just thought I'd share info on the mount I'm presently using which is a Best Buy house brand (Rocketfish) mount I've found to be both sturdy and the mount bracket opens wide enough to accommodate the S7. A little on the expensive side, but like I said it is well made and sturdy. Also, it includes both a standard suction cup/goose neck mount and vent mount in the box.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Rocketf...lack/9953877.p?id=1218200308619&skuId=9953877

Also, considering the mount that is being offered on ebay that is designed explicitly to accommodate the S7.

nice find, will have to look into that one. So it is pretty secure while driving then? It mounts to the a/c vents?

Looks just like the rocketfish mount I posted above but without the included vent mount - therefore less expensive - so a good option.

Well... I was debating whats better, on the window or on the vents?

I was gonna get the vent option, but was afraid that heat coming from vents would ness it up somehow,

what do you say about this?

Both options look great, thx for the find and pics guys. One thing to remember is that some states it is illegal to have gps mounted on the windshield.

Then again.....everything is legal till you get caught :>P
