This is pretty low $199.95 as wholesale online is $187, next Adora in NYC $219 with free shipping and finally Amazon $227 free shipping. HSN deal comes out to $212.90. For me no tax and it's $49.98 + $12.95 = $62.93 in a few days. Try it out for 30 days then send it back or keep it continue to pay $49.98 for the next 3 months to own it.

Why on earth is the 8024 $227 on Amazon and the 8025 (which I preordered and am still waiting for as of today) is $191? Now I know there are some differences but not almost $40 bucks worth IMHO. 8025 comes with Gingerbread (so I'm told) - that should be a plus long run, right? One apparently has battery in series and one in parallel (which one would run out first?). One has 9V DC adapter and one has 5V DC adapter (which is better to have?). Help me out guys - what do you think - should I wait for my Amazon 8025 or perhaps cancel that and get a 8024 from HSN right now? I appreciate your opinions.

I am definitely looking at a 2G Coby, mainly because Tipstir says the 1G was so good.

Don't know about the 8" screen though.

I think I would prefer a higher res 7".

Comet Supply Wholesalers (BBB rating is A+ by customers) have these tablets dirt cheap $187 for Coby off HSN $199, but you'll have to pay full and I am sure they'll get you for shipping an tax. HSN no shipping but you have to do the order online. 10" model has CTS vs RTS as the 8" does. HSN told me that $199 is the every-day price. They said on the TV over the weekend they ran out but that's another sales lure to get you to buy them. Gingerbread OS 2.3 would fix a lot of issues that are in OS 2.1 and OS 2.2. So if Coby releases the OS 2.3 just have to wait and see. I really like the 7015 but would be nice to see that drop to $99.

Whats the difference between RTS and CTS, i know resistive is good but whats CTS and does resistive support multi touch?? Thanks Any idea when the 1024 is being released?

RTS is single touch. I have issues with CTS on my Droids. I live in a colder climate my screen is less responsive when cold or my hand is cold.

Ya i googled quick and read that CTS only works with a special stylus or glove is that true? So then none of the kyros support multi-touch? Also i see the new 10" models 1025 and 1026 are the same aside from the OS and aspect ratio. What are the benefits of 4:3 or 16:9 does it make a difference really or only when outputting HS video to a tv?
